Environmental Policy
Our ethos is to respect nature and therefore we strive to deliver eco-friendly products and packaging. Packaging materials have been carefully selected to reduce the impact on the environment whilst still ensuring your artwork gets to you in perfect condition.
Greeting Cards
Printed in the UK using green energy.
Biodegradable, recyclable and printed using vegan friendly inks.
Card: Splendorgel 400gsm uncoated. Fully FSC Certified and part of the Carbon Capture Scheme.
Envelope: Recycled Kraft brown envelope 150gsm
Packaging:
The protective cellophane wrap is made in the UK from EN13432 compostable PLA. The outer packaging is a recyclable cardboard envelope.
Prints
Printed in the UK using green energy.
Paper: Hahnemühle German Etching Archival Fine Art paper 310gsm
Sizes available: A4 and A3
Each Gicleé print comes with a certificate of authenticity from the artist and a care sheet on how to look after your print.
Packaging:
A4 Gicleé prints are packaged flat as these prints are too small to roll.
Each print is sandwiched between two sheets of acid free tissue paper and then the prints themselves are sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard. The two boards are taped together using paper tape at each of the four sides to keep the prints from moving. This is then placed inside a recyclable mail bag made from sugar cane. All the materials in our A4 packaging are recyclable and plastic free.
A3 Gicleé prints are sent rolled in postal tubes.
Each print is wrapped in acid free tissue paper, the prints are then rolled around a smaller tube to protect the prints from getting creased while rolling. The prints are then wrapped in a heavy weight paper, longer than the prints to protect the edges while inside the postal tube, this roll is taped to stop the prints from unwinding and filling out the tube, which makes it easier to remove from the tube.
All materials within our postal tubes are recyclable, the only plastic element is the postal tube end cap.
A4 & A3 Mount & Wrap - The gicleé print is presented in a conservation window mount and hinge taped to an acid free backing board, the window mount is wrapped in cellophane which is recyclable - please check your local recycling. Individual items within the order are wrapped together in batches in paper to keep all the separate prints together. These packs are then packaged in boxes or within over-sized packing card to protect the prints in transit.
Shipping
Orders are dispatched within 5-7 working days and would thereafter arrive within 2 weeks to the UK.
Should your address not be accepted at checkout, please contact us and we will try to find a solution.
All greetings cards will be sent 1st class Royal Mail.
Gicleé prints will be sent by:
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - this service is used for print only orders as well as smaller finishing orders such as flat wraps and mounted prints.
OR
Parcelforce 24 hour delivery service - this service is for some larger print orders. This is a next day service and deliveries are made Monday to Friday.
You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
Returns on Damaged or Lost Artwork or Greetings Cards
In the unlikely event of receiving a damaged artwork or greetings card, please contact us within 48 hours with pictures of the damage. Once confirmed, we will endeavour to replace the item, free of cost.
In the event that we are unable to replace the item like for like, we will arrange a refund upon receiving the returned damaged artwork or greetings card, and corresponding Certificate of Authenticity (where applicable).
